In 2007 we stayed at the Holiday Inn on a car trip to Disneyland. We found the rooms to be very well priced, they had a nice restaurant in the lobby although not included in our room cost and the rooms were very adequate.
One of the unexpected bonuses that we found at the Holiday Inn was its close location to the Mickey and Friends parking structure. Rather than walk right to the park entrance we were able to hop on a convenient tram that runs pretty well a continuous loop to the park and back. So convenient! We had the convenience factor of being very close to the park but not the cost.
